A little bit of this and that!

Numbers....

Just a bit of a random post full of numbers:

* 1 more sleep until Lori comes and visits me. (So can not wait to see her!) ♥
* 7 more sleeps until I head down to Victoria for Nic and Trent's wedding!
* 4 is the number of brand new hand towels that I bought today. They are so soft and such pretty colours.
* 29 is the date today and there will not be another 29 February for 4 more years.
* 3060 is the number of songs I have in ITunes. I need to find me some more music. I want to try and find some different types of artists to put in there. Send me your suggestions. I love discovering new music.
* 1,000,000 is the number of dollars I would so love to have! Hee hee hee (a girl can dream can't she?)
* 5 emails that I have sent to my ISP provider to tell me why I can not access parts of SIStv. (Not happy Jan!)
* 2 hot cross buns that I couldn't resist eating earlier today. ☺
* 113, 363 views on my blog since I started. (Pretty cool considering I am just lil ole me)

Red....

Back in December last year I was contacted by Joei to participate in a little project called "red". We had to create little works of art on the theme "red" and then send them to her. They were all compiled into a gorgeous mini book and bound using a bind-it-all. Well my RED journal arrived yesterday and it is absolutely stunning! I am totally speechless. The texture, the work, the words, the pictures I just can not begin to describe just how amazing it is.
Thank you so much Joei for asking me to take part. I had so much fun and have such an amazing keepsake at the end.

A New Life....

A big congrats go out to my beautiful friends Natalie, John and Aren who welcomed baby Addie into the world bright and early on Saturday morning. Let's just say this is a birth story that Nat is going to have to scrap.
I am sure Nat won't mind me sharing this considering it is news in todays Daily Telegraph and on the website.

Well the mojo has been flowing this weekend! LOL. On the Australia Day long weekend Harvey Norman had a special on 8x10 reprints for 26c! Yes that's right 26c! I got 18 photos printed out this size and can't wait to scrap them!
Got the chance to scrap this one today. This photo was taken of the boys back in 2006 when they had Monsters Day at school. Patterned paper is KI Memories, AC thickers, shipping tag, buttons and jewelry tag.

My third little mini album for my Etsy store. This one was so much fun to make!
This mini measures approximately 4.5"x2.75". Paper is from Love Elsie. It contains 10 inner pages made from cardstock. There are 6 shipping tags throughout the pages as well. Five co-ordinating file tabs. Front of the album has "Christmas Memories" in Making Memories lettering stickers and a chipboard button from Love Elsie. The album is then spiral bound and finished off with co-ordinating ribbon from Love Elsie.

Here is another little creation for my Etsy store. This little book measures approximately 4.5"x2.75 inches. Paper is from Cloud 9 designs. It contains 5 Size 4 shipping tags along with various other tags throughout the pages. Two co-ordinating file tabs. Front of the album contains "A Dog's Life" title with Cloud 9 rub-ons.
The album is then spiral bound and finished off with co-ordinating ribbon. A little jewelry tag with another rub-on is hanging the top spiral. The back of the album has a Observations circle from 7 gypsies.

Well I have finally taken the plunge and decided to open up a little Etsy store to sell my Handmade Albums that I make. I have so much fun making them and they don't take me very long. Each one will be unique and no two will be the same.
So this is my first little mini called "My Life". It measures approximately 4.5"x2.75". Paper is from Die Cuts With A View. It contains 5 Size 5 shipping tags along with other various tags throughout the pages. Two co-ordinating file tabs. Heidi Swapp Chipboard label on the front with the words "My Life".
The album is then spiral bound and finished off with co-ordinating ribbon from May Arts.

Journal Your Christmas Day 20 and 21....

Still working on my pages for the Journal Your Christmas album that I did with Shimelle. So loving how this album is turning out and only a few more pages to go. Shimelle did through until January 6 but I am only going to do through until Jan 1.
December 20th - this page was meant to be about an unexpected surprise but I chose to do another topic. A place that I would love to visit during Christmas. That place is New York!  Love Elsie PP, epoxy, ribbon and lettering. shipping tag.
December 21st - this page was about "today". Was so happy to have had my shopping done! Love Elsie PP and cardstock label sticker, HS letters, 7 gypsies stamp.

Remember how in my last post I said I had no scrapping mojo? Well yesterday it starting a flowin'. I have had one of the 5x12 clear albums from Scrapping Clearly that I have been hanging out to scrap with. I needed to get it done as there is a really cool event that I am going to in April that I need it for. (more news on that later!)
This 5x12 size is such a cool size to work with. This book was inspired by a book that I got from Compendium called Love Life. It is a book full of quotations about celebrating life. It is absolutely beautiful and was just perfect as an inspiration piece for my book.
This album has 4 clear pages. The first page looks as though it has the photo stuck on it but it doesn't. The photo, patterned paper (MOD) and journaling is actually on the second page. The top page only has the chipboard heart (Heidi Swapp) and "Love Life" title on it. You can see this more clearly in the 5th photograph where the front cover is opened.
Each page contains a photo, love title and then the quote that corresponds to that title. Each page also has another chipboard heart on it.
The binding rings have been finished off with contrasting ribbon.
Love how this has turned out.

Random bits n pieces....

Ok so this post is just full of random bits n pieces.

• Totally not liking the fact that I am on dial-up until 12.00am Sunday morning. GRRRR!!!!! Although my speed picks up between 4am and 9am (off peak time) but hello I don't intend to be up during those hours tomorrow! LOL.
• Totally got me some happy mail with one of these in my hot little hands!
• Totally sooooo glad it is Friday. It has been a really long week.
• Totally want to go and see Jumper tomorrow. Will see if I get time.
• Totally loving the new season of LOST.
• Totally also loving the new episodes of Prison Break (sigh Wentworth Miller does it for me everytime)
• Totally wanna go scrap but have no mojo.
• Totally not liking being on dial-up  (see really don't like it)
• Totally not happy about that fact that it takes Bloglines forever to load because of the above reason.
• Totally have a craving for Reeses Peanut Butter Cups (oh and totally not happy that the store that was here where I could get them from has closed down! Like what the?)
• Totally excited that in 22 more sleeps I get go see Nic, Georgina and Trent.
• Totally excited that I will be seeing them at their wedding!
• Totally excited to be spending some time with Kass and Micheal too in Melbourne after the wedding.
• Totally wanna catch up with whichever of you girls live in Melbourne.
• Totally decided that it is time for a change and I have decided to grow my fringe out. Have had it for over 10 years and it is time for a change. Already it is driving me crazy as it needs a trim but I am going to stick it out. (But I just hope it doesn't look feral for Nic's wedding! LOL. Has anyone out there ever grown their fringe out and has some tips for making sure I don't go insane waiting for it to grow?
• Totally have been trying to email Mary from my home town to try and catch up but your emails keep bouncing back saying your mailbox is full!
• Totally time to stop using the word totally and to say have a great weekend!
