Day 13 - Gift Giving. We always do our gifts on Christmas morning. The Santa presents are always under the tree unwrapped. I always love hearing how others do their Christmas gifts. Love Elsie PP, epoxy stickers and letter stickers, 7 gypsies stamp.
Well here we are at another Christmas Day...... The day started not too early for us when the boys were up at about 6.45am which for Christmas Day was pretty late!!!! Santa was good to everyone this year. We headed to my Nan's house this morning to see her before she headed out to lunch. So we have just finished lunch at our house with my Mum and Dad. Just letting the lunch settle and then it is pudding time! Yummo!!!!

Nanny Jan and Norm headed our way over the weekend so that we could celebrate Christmas a little early with them. The boys were very excited to see them both and spend some time with them. Here is just a snippet of our weekend. (Don't forget their is still time to leave a comment on the RAK thread)
Another little project that made it onto the portal at Karens Scrappin yesterday was a fun little mini-album called "This Is Happiness" that used the gorgeous October Afternoon products as well. I had so much fun making this little album. It measures approx 5x7". It contains 10 pages with inserts in every 2nd page of more October Afternoon goodness. Every 2nd pages also has a co-ordinating file tab. The edges of the covers have been inked. The front has stitching on the title block as well as a gorgeous co-ordinating button. The spiral binding has co-ordinating ribbon from May Arts. The back cover has a little circle signed by me.
I have decided as it is Christmas to have a little RAK and give-away my little "This Is Happiness" album. Yesterday my 2008 Calendar that I made for my Mum made it onto the portal at Karens Scrappin. I had so much fun with the October Afternoon paper range. Gorgeous papers and embellishments. The top and bottom parts of the calendar are chipboard that has been covered in co-ordinating paper. When flipped open the top has the picture page that will be seen throughout the entire year. The months tear off at the bottom. The template for the pages is from Maya Road. The calendar was then bound using my Bind It All.

Playing catch up again today with my Christmas Journal. Being only 6x6 sized pages it doesn't take too long.
Day 10 was all about the Wrapping! I absolutely *heart* cute wrapping paper. But having 3 boys in the house doesn't make for cutesy wrapping paper sometimes. But this year I couldn't resist and found this gorgeous stripey paper and yummy gift tags. So there may only be one present under the tree this year for me but at least it is wrapped up all cute! Ok so not sure if you know by my taste in songs here on my blog but I am a huge Country fan! I totally *heart* country music. My fascination began way back when Ben was a couple of years old and we got pay TV and had the Country Music Channel. I would listen to it all day... every day. So many country bands that I love and a lot of them I have played on here in my music videos. Two of my all time favourites are Sugarlandand Gary Allanare coming to Australia in March for the CMC Rocks The Snowys in Thredbo! I am so excited! My tickets are booked, my accomodation is booked so roll on March to two days of Country Partying with my DH and my gorgeous friend Georgie!!!!! (not that I should be wishing away the year so soon! LOL It goes too quickly as it is)
Lots of other great artists will be there too.
