Jack has his very special bear... Lavender. On our way home from the Gold Coast we stopped in at Newcastle one night to catch up with Jen and family. Well Jack accidently left Lavender at the motel that we were staying at. It wasn't discovered until about 11pm the next night when we were in Sydney. A frantic phone call was made to the motel and luckily for us they had found her and kept her safe. Another frantic phone call to Jen asking her to pick up Lavender for us and send her home. Well a couple of weeks went past and no Lavender returned home.... until on Jen's blog I spy a certain bear has been seen hanging out with the Hall family in Newcastle. This week Lavender arrived home with some lovely little surprises. Her very own bear felt bag full of little goodies for Jack as well as a little mini album full of all of her adventures during her stay with the Halls. Too cute!!! Jack has looked at the photo album a hundred times since it arrived. Thank you Jen and the rest of the Hall family for taking such great care of Lavender for us and getting her back to us safe and sound.
What a gorgeous thing for Jen to do - so sweet. Im sure he will treasure lavenders little travel journal for a long long time. THat little bear backpack is just too cute!!!

ohhh once a stuffed Shepard dog named rover got left behind and a boy was very very sad. We had to turn around. I loved that Lavender made it home with extra goodies!

The book is so cute it makes me want to cry. It reminds me of one of my favorite series about Edith and Mr. Bear. You are lucky to have a lovely friend like Jen.

Lee that is so cute!
Jen well done!
That is what scrapbooking is all about! It will be such a cute, "when I was a little boy..." story for Jack to share with his kids!
Hugs,
