My Jack (4) has a habit of coming out with the most obscure facts at odd times. Like for instance this afternoon on our way home from swimming he informed Ben ------- Did you know that ants have a thorax? I couldn't help but start giggling from the front seat. Firstly .... what the.... and secondly "I" don't even know what a thorax is!
Some of the other little odd things he says are:
- Did you know that butterflies have abdomens? (but it is the cute way he says it. He can't pronounce abdomen properly)
- Underneath my beautiful coloured skin (mmm he is white) and under all the blood are all my bones
- Milk used to come in bottles.
- Whilst running around making fart noises he is heard saying "Look Mum I took a fart pill"
- Last year when learning about the difference between boys and girls he was asked. "what are you Jack"---------- a boy. What's Ben?--------- a boy. What's Nan?----------- a girl. What's Pop?--------- an old woman. To which there was suddenly fits of hysterics from everyone but mainly my mum. She blamed my husband for the response and my husband blamed her. I just thought it was highly amusing. (fortunately my Dad also saw the funny side of it)
ROFL - too cute! Sounds like your Jack would be the perfect partner for one of my girls!
Lucky your mum has a sense of humour hey!
